Whatever your specialty or whatever your level, join us for some fun and an excellent workout. You can swim as much or as little as you want. Meets and practices are NOT mandatory.
This past February, we hosted our Second Annual Tulane Swim Club Mardi Gras Invitational. Schools that competed included: University of Florida, Florida State University, University of Georgia, Georgia Tech University, University of Houston, Miami University, University of North Carolina-Greensboro, Ohio State University, and University of West Florida.
This school year still includes a lot more meets, traveling, and championships that we plan to attend. We already hosted our annual Mardi Gras Invitational again this school year. This meet was held for the second time on February 19, 2005. To take a look at this meet and the other meets that we still have planned for the rest of the spring semester, check out our 2004-05 Meet Schedule.
We would like to congratulate our new officers for the 2005-2006 school year. Rachel Horvath will be our president, Rachel Strom our vice-president, and Jen Sanders our social chair. Our treasurer for next year will be named in the future.
New social activities are still being planned. Jen Sanders is now our Social Chair for the rest of this school year. She will be working on an exciting activity schedule, which will include parties, fundraisers, and many more fun social activities.
This season has been better than last year and we continue to welcome new members to join us for some fun. To see what we are all about, feel free to come to one of our practices at the Reily Recreational Center Indoor Pool. Our president, Jordan Sangerman, and our coach, Krystin Krause, will be present at the practices to answer questions, give pointers, and generally render assistance. If you are interested in swimming with us, contact Jordan Sangerman at jsangerm@tulane.edu.
