This is my very own granola recipe! So proud of me.

4 tablespoons brown sugar
5 tablespoons water
3 cups oats
cup slivered almonds
cup shredded, unsweetened coconut
cup untoasted wheat germ
cup sunflower seeds
1 teaspoon vanilla
teaspoon cinnamon

Microwave the brown sugar and water for about 30 seconds.
Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Toss/stir to make sure well combined.
Spread granola on cookie sheet and bake at 275 for 45 to 60 minutes. (If you want clumps, mush the granola together with your hands after dumping it all on the cookie sheet, but then be careful when transferring later). Cool. Store in an air tight container.
