Obviously these cookies are gonna taste like brownies. This recipe is from "Bakers." I don't make them much because when I do I can't stop eating them.
6 squares semi sweet baking chocolate
4 squares unsweetened baking chocolate
6 tablespoon butter (3/4 stick)
1 ¼ cups sugar
2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
2 cups toasted chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 325°.
Microwave the chocolate and butter in a large bowl on high 1 ½ to 2 minutes or until chocolate has melted, stirring halfway through heating time. Stir until chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
Stir in sugar until blended. Mix in eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt, then the nuts. (Dough should be soft).
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 1 ½ inches apart onto un-greased cookie sheet. Bake for 12 minutes or until set being careful not to overbake.
Cool for 5 minutes, remove from cookie sheet. Cool completely on wire racks. Store in airtight container.
