Park in the Dark
Oooook. Can I ask you what harm EVER came from playing on a play ground??? Ok don't answer with anything pertaining before the age of like 13 when your motor skills didn't match up.

So the cops came and told us no playing on the park because it happened to be about 1am. What fun is this? I mean seriously. They said there had been vandalism lately. Then they proceeded to block in my car and search the play ground for drugs. (Not thourghly) They probably were only attracted to the area (All THREE cops it took to tell us to go home safely) by me screaming "This is a shaddy ass area." Now if I was up to no good, or on drugs would I scream such things? Don't answer that. However feel free to comment freely on this matter.

I was present at this event and i don't see how we were going to do anybody any harm. Not to mention we don't exactly look like drug lords and we didn't hide from them so they had no reason to suspect we were up to no good. Anyway boooooooo to the police in whatever city we were in. Sounds like the Taylorville police are shady too so booooooo on them too.

Dude! I have been caught at the park late at night too by the cops! It truly ruins the fun atmosphere. This is just one of the many incidents where we were caught. I was at Drost Park in Maryville. A bunch of us wanted to just have a late picnic, watch the stars, and talk. So, yeah, the cops came up to us with their flashlights, and were like "Um...what are you guys doing here?" If he had seen us before he came up right on top of us, he would have seen that we were all laying on a blanket, eating grapes, talking, and laughing. Duh! Oh well, it is their job after all. They have to enforce the rules. And the rules were set to keep away drug lords and kids trying to vandalize the park, so I understand where they are coming from. I just wish they knew we were good kids, and wouldn't do that. Grr... sorry about your incident though. I find it funny that they checked for drugs, they never did that to us when we got caught. I bet it was y'all's whacky (but normal) behavior that made them think you were on drugs. :)
