Born in Suriname, South America, on April 5, 1984, Mercedes Nelson has managed to make a lasting impression on various forums.
She has participated in an impressive number of popular music videos, and has worked with artists such as Fefe Dobson, Cassidi, Slum Village, G-Unit featuring Lloyd Banks, Marques Houston, Young Rome, Missy Elliot, Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg, Warren G, Pharrell, and Kanye West.
In 2004 and 2005, Mercedes performed as a member of Dame Four, a female group,signed with Universal Records, which traveled throughout the United States and performed with much success in states as Michigan, Massachusetts, Virginia, and South Carolina.
The group was portrayed in the November 7, 2005 issue of Vibe Magazine as a team of attractive, hard-working women with an eye for success. And that is exactly what Mercedes Nelson is all about.
She went on to become a member in a new burlesque performance group; Elise Neal & The Assorted Flavors, who have performed in serveral cities,and at several upscale events and awards.
She also took up a new career of hosting, in which she hosted the BET red carpet in 2007 for BlackTreeTv. Mercedes continued working with BlackTreeTv Media, where she's interviewed the stars of the hit movie; The Mummy.
Mercedes has recently started her own fashion line: Merci-Belle, and is trying to take the FashionWorld to the next level.
With her exotic looks, her beautiful skin tone, her high intelligence and her ambition, she currently pursues a career in modeling and acting
