G-1 Hattie's Hen House
Appliqued rounded areas onto quarter square triangles. Hand pieced quarter square triangles together.


8 Pieces.

G-2 Mohawk Trail
Hand and paper pieced. Another reversed design ... oh, well ..

G-3 Four Leaf Clover
Used cut-away applique technique with freezer paper on top. Made the clover leaf shapes a little fatter and turned the leaf shape 45 degrees.

G-4 Shutterbug
Paper pieced using one foundation. They should all be so easy!

G-5 Poof
Paper pieced the "X" then appliqued the popcorn shape on top. Cut away the excess behind.

G-6 Papa's Star
Paper pieced units of small star. Hand pieced units and filler background. Paper pieced large star units, then hand pieced them together. I did this block four times to find the best method that works for me. That's it. I'm truly obsessed.

Altered the pattern to match Jane's. Added background fabric at the end of each "X" leg. Hand pieced.

Entirely hand pieced this one just because I felt like hand piecing at the time. It could have been partially paper pieced, though.

Had a really nice woven fabric for this but it was stretchy! Hand and paper pieced.

Hand pieced and paper pieced. Appliqued the diamonds.

Redrafted so interior star could be pieced, same as Jane's. Hand and paper pieced using two similar fabrics.
