Bayou Mamma
BayouMamma's mother, Laura Crader has been in the hospital. It would be nice if we could all add her to our prayer list. BayouMamma said "she is home now but is not in very good shape."
   Her mother is 76 years of age and has had a hard time.She was already sick from back in april when she had a lung collaspe. She never really got better but stayed on medication. Now she has a bladder infection that got into her blood system and messed up her memory.
    She already has alzheimers so now shes here with us in body but not much in mind BayouMamma says. We talk to her and she will somewhat respond with mumblimg, but that's all we get. BayouMamma said, " We are hoping someday soon she regains her strength, she can't walk or feed herself. We have to pick her up to move her from the bed to the chair. The doctor said that as far as her mind, he doesn't think  she will ever get better.
    Her mind just doesn't function as it should. The infection got into her blood stream and affected her way of thinking. An Alzheimer's was already there and the doctor is giving her some meds but he said it would only help her a little. She might not get her way of thinking back."
   It takes two people to handle her mother and BayouMamma has been working at a regular job also so on her days off, she doesn't get the rest she really needs.
   I know that mom is 76 years of age now but we just aren't ready to let her go yet said BayouMamma.

  SO, let us all add in a prayer for BayouMamma and her mother. Prayer always help ease the pain. Cilck here to have your name added to the list of prayer.

 

 

A Letter From Brenda

Good Morning A1Cajun,

I just wanna drop you a few lines to keep you in touch on how my mom is doing and I wanna thank you very much for your prayers--My sisters are gone to talk to the doctor this morning --My mom does not wanna sleep --and her mind is terrrible--The alheimers is really bad--She sits an talks about my dad who has been deceased for yrs an other members of her family also--She may end up in the nursing home after today--we dont wanna do that to her but we have no choice--I have to work and the other sisters are so worn down they cant go anymore--I am on my way there this morning to help out because she was up all night -She has meds to make her sleep but they dont work---lol my mom is a charracter--Yesterday she told my sister, "Im not gonna sleep tonight" and sure enough she didnt lol like she knows they had doubled her dose of meds for her to sleep after 10 last night that didnt even phase her--I was there til 10 an we had put her to bed said nite time prayers with her an she had gotton relaxed so we said ohhhhhh maybe this will work but guess what, we was fooled lol but she really did enjoy us praying with her. Well i guess i could go on and on about my mom but im gonna stop, just please remember her in your prayers.
