Black Mountains

I'd never seen anything like the black mountains. They're basically gigantic piles of boulders in the middle of nowhere and just loom in front of you when you drive towards them. You can see that there is some vegetation growing amongst the rocks, despite there being no soil - apparently they are specially adapted fig trees. There are a lot of urban legends associated with the black mountains, the main one being that countless people have disappeared there by venturing too far or getting lost in its many crevices and passages.
