Q: What is this all about?
A: Growing out of long-range planning, Sts. Leo-Seton is in the process of raising funds to:
Build a New Multimedia Library containing:
             Library facility;
             Computer stations for research;
             Multi-purpose rooms;
             Teacher resource room;
             Conference room;
             Restrooms;
             Library work area;
             Storage.
Turn the present library space into an art lab/classroom;
Completely renovate and update the science lab; and
Build an outdoor athletic court.

Q: Whose idea was this?
A: This began in 1993 with a long-range planning committee that had input from the administration, parents, parishioners, faculty, the Board and others.

Q: Aren't there greater needs at the school?
A: Since 1988 every parent committee which looked at the ongoing needs of the school agreed that this is the most pressing.  When the Diocese evaluated our school, its number one recommendation was expansion or building of a new library.  Long-term planning has always included the library as the largest single priority.

Q: What groups have been involved in the decision making process?
A: Thus far, hundreds of people have been involved including parents, the Board, Library Steering Committee,  faculty, staff and key donors to the school.

Q: How will we know what is going on?
A: Periodic update information will appear in Lion's Roar articles and inserts, in letters to parents, at PTC meetings, and at informational meetings.  We also will be happy to get your questions by phone.
