It is not for me to say,
or reason why

But when do I let my feelings known?

Should I stay, or should I go?

From the moment you said that first
"Hello" and the way we laughed
I knew! Yet, it is not for me to say.

We might have taken a different
path that day, yet we knew that was
not our way

I can't forget when you drew me near,
and you called me sweetheart
and when our eyes met for a
fleeting moment I wondered...

Did you know?

Did my feelings show?
If so, why, can't I say how I feel?

I wonder, did the same feelings race
within your soul?

Maybe I will never know. Maybe we will never
