Resting In His Spirit

"Come sit beside Me and rest

Let Me hear of the things that
have you so troubled. Do you
understand why you are so
troubled by them?"

No Lord, I don't understand any
of what I see. My heart breaks
when I see so many hurting and
lost people. They are drowning
in the ways of the world.

There are so many families that
are broken and fighting among
themselves. They do not
understand that, through You
all things become new and
You can give them the peace
they seek. They seek the
answers in all the wrong
places and in the wrong
ways

"Child, do you not remember a
time that you did not know Me?
It was not that long ago you too
listened to the evil one's voice.
Yes and you followed his voice
you searched for a place to
belong, and someone to love you,
someone you could trust.

Do you not remember?

One night you called out My
name and thought I could not
be found or that I heard you
but I was there all the time.

You called out in despair and
I answered and pulled you from
the storm that almost took
your life. Yes, you remember
that day!

I answer all who call out My name,
and I come to all who seek Me, and
desire to know Me.

I hear their cry for help. Do not
think of the stranger's voice that
some hear, tell them of Me and teach
them My word, for I speak to all who
will hear.

Show them My love in action
and share My peace with all who
receive Me."

With God all things are possible!

And that God's love can, does
and will answer all who call
upon His Name!
