Sects of the Clan Brujah

The Clan Brujah is splintered into three defined groups

The first is the most stereotypical, the Iconoclasts. Their philosophy is simple: if someone holds it dear-it must be destroyed. The Iconoclasts sybolize the spite of the clan. Since the destruction of the Brujah's utopia the Iconoclast have struck down everything and anything that other kindred find worth in. Unfortunately that 'anything' includes the clan's own structure, and leaves Clan Brujah fairly weak as a whole unit. The average Iconoclast is your common anarchist punk. Hates laws, control, power (and Ventrue and Toreador). He wants anarchy for the world and plans on instating it himself.

The Second, smallest, and most successful sect is the Individualists. Mocked by most of the Clan, this sect rides the line between the other two. The average Individualist is probably an anarchist, but would rather be responsible for himself first and try to teach the rest of the world to do the same. They are often loners, but do have loyalty to their Clan.

The Third group are the Idealists. They are stereotypically the Clan's Elders. They see, in the future, another chance for Kindred freedom, but quickly rationalize a "means to an end" philosophy opposed to the Iconoclasts. They want to create their anarchic utopia, ironically, through control. They want to legislate utopia in a sense, and it makes the Iconoclasts hate them all the more.

It is not uncommon for a Brujah to pass from Iconoclast to Individualist to Idealist as he grows more ancient, but there are Brujah's of note who do otherwise. Smiling Jack, one of the most prominent Anarchs has remained an Iconoclast for centuries, and is not likely to change.
