I saw a light coming from behind
the door. I had seen the light
before and turned away, this
time I decided to find out just
where the light was coming from

Slowly, I opened the door and
entered the room. The light
was so bright I had to shade
my eyes trying to adjust them
to the brightness

I called into the room,"Will you
lower the light? It's hurting
my eyes."

Then with a voice like I
had never heard said....

"I can not dim the light, nor
can you look into it. When we
leave this room My Light will
go with you and show you the
way you are to go
in My name."

Who are you?"

"Be still child, and know that
I AM love."

Well, needless to say my heart
stood still and I became as
peaceful as a sleeping baby and
entered into complete rest.

I brushed away the tears, why
I was crying I did not know.

The Visitor's voice was gentle
yet spoke with authority. I was
held as I ask forgiveness for
my sins and in my heart I
knew I was forgiven.

I drew strength from the Vistor
and forgave those who had hurt me
The scars from all the pain and
suffering was gone.

How long we stayed in the little
room I do not know, only that
I did not want to leave.

But soon the Visitor said...

"You are ready to leave now, you
have asked for forgiveness and
received that for which you
have asked

You have been healed and within
you is the light of everlasting
life. This light will guide
you, it will always be with
you and lead you to the places
where I will have you go."

The tiny room was aglow now
but only from the sunshine
streaming through the open
windows.

In my heart I knew that the
warmth of the Visitor's
love would remain with me forever

Yes, I know the name of the
Visitor, Jesus Christ, my Lord
and Savior.

How many times do we heard
the still small voice within
whisper so softly and gone
on our way, not wanting to
hear the call of Jesus into
our life?

I had turned from His calling
for so many years. Yet, when
I needed Him the most He was
there.
