This little curbside is a box stock build. It is painted with Chrome Sapphire Blue Nail Polish. The interior is two toned with a custom mix of acrylic water based paints.
It turned out to be a sharp looking little piece
Painted with blue finger nail polished and about a dozen coats of clear lacquer made for a real deep glossy finish on this fully detailed Street Machine. Lifted the rear end and fitted some after market Cragger 5 spokes wheels and Mickey Thompson Tires. The interior includes a head liner and sun visors made from self adhesive felt. I shaved down the felt a bit with an electric razor to make it look in scale.
This model received the full treatment includeing a detailed engine compartment and detailed chassis including fuel and brake lines. The Testors Pacific Blue is a real close match to the original factory color.
My version of the Testors kit "Vantastic". Built as a curbside, the engine and interior has been left out and put in the parts box. It is body is painted Testors Panther Pink and the fenders and trim, Exhaust Metalizer with a gloss clear coat. The color combination worked out real well and the tinted windows really give this custom streetrod a crusin' look.
The classic muscle car! This model features a fully detailed engine compartment and custom three tone interior. To give this classic the right muscle car look, it was painted with Duplicolor Dark Metalic Blue which give a Metal Flake apperance to scale. Also added after market red line tires.
1970 Duster - AMT The pictures do not do this model justice. I have not yet been able to capture the true color of the Plum Cazy purple paint. The engine compartment and interior have good detail. The kit went together reasonably well. The rear windows did not fit properly, so I left them out.
This kit was built for a theme entry Emergency Response Vehicles. It is built straight out the box and painted Italian Red with Aluminum Plate Metalizer on the running boards. The kit came with all the trim gold plated. It sure stands out next to my other model subjects!
