Well, I didn't actually know I was going to this concert until a week before. I was up in my room thinking to myself "I would do anything to meet 98 Degrees, probably even eat fish eyes!" then I heard my mom say she had to talk to me. I was scarred (It's never good when your mom says she has to talk to you!) I went downstairs very carefully, saw my mom and she goes "what would you do if i could make your biggest dream come true?"~~(Me thinking)~~OMG Im gonna meet 98 degrees, OMG what if they are here?, OMG and Im in my pajamas!!!!!~~(End of me thinking) So I was crying and my mom told me I could get tickets for thier show on the 20th(a little disappointed but I was still so amazed!!!!) i was crying and shaking and laughing all at the same time! Well my sister wass gonna take me and I was happy because I rarely see her. Down to the main point, Im at the concert place and it's super muddy, i mean I wore white sneakers and they turned brown! I went to the right side of the stage to see if i could see anything backstage and low and behold who do i see? yup 98 Degrees!!! I could see them back stage getting ready for the show, no I didn't see them changing, I'm not a stalker besides they closed the blinds!! Meanwhile they had No Authority playing which in my opinion are really good too. After them was 98 Degrees, every now and then you would here these "teeny boppers" screaming because they put thier sign up I'm not sure but me I kept my eyes backstage. They come on in these alien type scary things and it's really cool because the announcer says in the year 2013, the next ice age occurs and our only hope is 98 Degrees.(somthing along those lines(hard to tell from screaming) They did most of there songs except still, If she only knew and she's out of my life. They did every kind of genre of music, of course thier own stuff, rap(eniminem(Our name is 98 Degrees), Offspring(too fly for a white guy(one of my favs they did!). Blues(Justin plyed a harmonica and sang). Prince's I wanna party like it's 1999, they also did Superstition, and Can't get next to you. They did alot and until you go to a concert you'll understand why it's hard to remeber all of the songs. I had a really good time though, I was dancing, singing, and smiling. Other people looked at me as if I was wierd but I wasn't the wierd one at a concert just standing there doing nothing except looking at other poeple around me instead of on the most wonderfully talented people in the world! Anyways at the end, confetti stuff exploded of the stage and I told my sister to catch one and then one just landed in my hand. So we left and my sister dropped the coffetti thing so I jumped in front of a car and got it!(not a smart idea!) well that's my second expierence , not as good as the first one
I mean how could you top Drew smiling at you? This was still an unforgettable expierence and I loved every minute of it! I still encourage you to go to a concert if you have not done so yet, it's worth every single last cent, believe me it's worth it!! Well until my next expierence, when I will see them again, or maybe meet them ~~i wish for every star in the sky!~~
When I first heard about this concert I was driving home from labor day vacation. I was kinda sad cause I had missed there show at the New York State Fair. While I was on my way home I heard over the radio that 98 Degrees were gonna come to Rochester the next month! I was so excited, i started crying! I mean I know i have been overly blessed because i have been able to see them several times, but it was during a really hard time in my life, so they helped me get through alot! That weekend i ordered tickets to go. My mom went with me so she can see why i love them so much, and i took my friend Steph, her mom, and my little cousin Amanda, whose never been to a concert before. The day of the concert i was so happy!! I never thought i'd be able to see them once, let alone three times!!!!! So we get to the Blue Cross Arena and find our seats (which arn't that bad!). When the opening bands came out, the whole crowd was off thier seats! No Authority was awesome! I also thought Jessica Simpson was really cool! Then came the moment, when 98 Degrees came out, I swear i was in a dream! Im really short so i had to stand on my seat to see, which the BIG security people didnt like. I did it any way cause even though i was standing on a chair you couldnt tell i wasn't standing! The show was the best , My two favorite parts was when Drew was introducing Jeff and he asked the audience if they ever heard of Massilon, Ohio. The audience was all yelling and screaming. Drew then said in a very brooklen accent!, " You all Lyers , you ain't never heard of that town!" It was funny!! My other favorite part was when they were singing The hardest thing. My favorite part in that song is the " bye baby bye bye" so Drew was singing it and I was the only one left standing on my chair (so i then had perfect view of the stage!) I was screaming (not teeny bopperly) and singing along, waving good bye(cause it was thier last song) and then Drew stoped and just stood in front and waved good bye. I was waving back the whole time! That was my third concert.Ever since that concert my mom has become a fan of 98 Degrees herself!! Each of the concerts were very meaningful to me. So i encourage you, escpecailly if you love 98 Degrees, go to one of thier concerts!!! It is one thing to see them on T.V., but when you see them in person it is worth ALL the money in the world. There is nothing like it!!!
