ONLY THROUGH THE SCRIPTURES CAN WE BEGIN TO SEE OURSELVES AS WE REALLY ARE!
(James 1:21-25)
From what source does man derive his moral authority, the authority to determine right from wrong, the spiritual and mental faculty to discern good from evil? Is man born with the ability to distinguish right from wrong? Or is this ability external of man's reasoning?
Man’s goings are of the LORD; how can a man then understand his own way? (Prov. 20:24)
O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps. (Jer. 10:23)
When God made man, God did not tell man to go and figure out things on his own. God verbally spoke unto man telling him what was good and what was harmful. Man knew right from wrong by the words of his creator: I had not known sin, but by the law (Luke 4:4; Rom. 7:7).
When Lucifer the dragon, that old serpent, who is the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world, tempted man to doubt God's words, man abandoned his God-given knowledge and became his own authority, knowing good and evil, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes. (Gen. 3; Deut. 12:8; Rev. 12:9). The devil said, I will be like the most High. (Isa. 14:14). And the devil said unto man, ye shall be as gods (Gen. 3:5). This is the whole new age religious movement in a nut-shell and the crux of all false religion: the promotion of fallen man, and the demotion of Jesus Christ the Word of God (Psa. 138:2; John 1:1; Rev. 19:13).
Man's only true source for knowing the difference between good and evil is from God. Even after man's fall God still loved him and gave him the ten commandments to know right from wrong. God wrote the ten commandments with his own finger (Ex. 31:18; Deut. 9:10). And then God used the prophets and apostles of old and gave man his words, i.e., the scriptures (II Tim. 3:16). Have not I written to thee excellent things in counsels and knowledge, That I might make thee know the certainty of the words of truth; that thou mightest answer the words of truth to them that send unto thee? (Prov. 22:20,21). And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. (II Tim. 3:15). For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Eph. 2:8,9). Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one. (Job 14:4).
Fallen man is inherently wicked. The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? (Jer. 17:9). Jesus Christ said, For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man. (Mark 7:21-23). Fallen man by his very nature is corrupt. Jesus said, Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. (John 8:44); and, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (John 3:3); Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. (1 Peter 1:23). Fallen man is inclined to follow his own corrupt self-righteous judgement. We hear this repeated again and again in the new age mantra, that "God is not about a belief in a doctrine, but a feeling in our heart." But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. (Gal. 3:22). That's right: them that believe, not them that feel. He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: (Prov. 28:26).
If man's moral authority comes from his feelings, if man's true ability to discern right from wrong comes from within his own heart, then no one man's judgement or opinion can supercede anther man's, no matter how "good" or how "evil" it might appear to someone else. It is survival of the fittest; every man for himself. Logic and common sense would dictate that if man's moral authority comes from within himself, moral relativity would be the result. This, of course, posses a major problem for the spiritual moralists of our day. On the one hand they have Gods word, the holy scriptures, which they refuse to believe is man's true authority for determining good from evil. And on the other hand they have their own feelings and opinions and the opinions of billions of other people on the earth. These spiritual elitists reconcile this problem by playing the role of our first mother, Eve, who became the first moralist when she decided to discern good and evil for herself. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, (Rom. 1:22). These moral elitists, as gods, have usurped the authority of God's word (Gen. 3:5).
Moralists believe that they can know the difference between good and evil by virtue of their existence and by virtue of their 'enlightened minds' being in tune with 'God's mind.' Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,... Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, (Rom. 1:22-25). The truth of God is his word: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1); for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name (Psa. 138:2); and his name is called The Word of God. (Rev. 19:13). Moralists change the truth of God into a lie, and foolishly suppose that God's creation is God, and foolishly worship and serve the creature, themselves, more than the Creator, The Word of God. Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. (Rom. 1:21).
But the lord, who's perfect love surpasses fallen man's foolish pride and arrogant finite understanding, again warned his people by Moses, saying, Ye shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes. (Deut. 12:8). When Lucifer said, I will be like the most High. (Isa. 14:14) he was not kidding. And God will allot him his time in the lime light, And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. (Rev. 13:7,8). And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. (Matt. 25:46). Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. (Rev. 14:12).
In the beginning . . . . God created man in his own image, in the likeness of God . . . Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam (Gen. 1:1,27; 5:1,2)
Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions. (Eccl. 7:29)
And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden [the tree of life also] thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. (Gen. 2:9,16,17)
See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil.... therefore choose life (Deuteronomy 30:15-19)
But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward. (Jeremiah 7:24) (Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions. (Psalms 106:39))
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (Rom. 5:12) (For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil (Mark 7:21), Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; (Prov. 22:15), for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; (Gen. 8:21)
The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. (Isaiah 24:5) (Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; (Genesis 3:18))
Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me. (Isaiah 1:2)
Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. (Isaiah 59:1,2)
Lift up thine eyes unto the high places, and see where thou hast not been lien with. In the ways hast thou sat for them, as the Arabian in the wilderness; and thou hast polluted the land with thy whoredoms and with thy wickedness. (Jeremiah 3:2)
The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God. They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one. (Psalms 14:2,3)
There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness. (Proverbs 30:12)
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. (Isaiah 64:6)
verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. (Psalms 39:5)
For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not. (Ecclesiastes 7:20) (for there is no man that sinneth not (I Kings 8:46))
Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one. (Job 14:4)
But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men, And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man. (John 2:24,25) (the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience (Ephesians 2:2))
What is man, that he should be clean? and he which is born of a woman, that he should be righteous? Behold, he putteth no trust in his saints; yea, the heavens are not clean in his sight. How much more abominable and filthy is man, which drinketh iniquity like water? (Job 15:14-16)
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. (John 8:44)
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. (John 3:6,7). not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God (I Peter 1:23)
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. (Isaiah 53:6). when he had by himself purged our sins with his own blood (Acts 20:28; Hebrews 1:3; 13:12)
To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins (Acts 26:18)
God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God. Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. (Psalms 53:2,3)
Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped, And said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD. In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. Then Job answered the LORD, and said, Behold, I am vile; Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes. (Job 1:20-22; 40:3,4; 42:6)
For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body (Rom. 7:18,24,25; Philip. 3:21)
And there shall ye remember your ways, and all your doings, wherein ye have been defiled; and ye shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for all your evils that ye have committed. Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. (Ezekiel 20:43; 36:25-27)
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) (For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:8,9); But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:8-10))
And you hath he quickened [by the blood of Christ Eph.2:13], who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air [the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan which deceiveth the whole world Rev. 20:2; 12:9], the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: (Ephesians 2:1-13)
Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? (James 4:5)
But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) (Ephesians 2:4,5)
O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps. (Jeremiah 10:23)
There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. (Proverbs 14:12)
Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts. (Proverbs 21:2)
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. ((Jeremiah 17:9,10)
Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. Hear now, O house of Israel; Is not my way equal? are not your ways unequal? (Ezekiel 18:25)
For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye. (Ezekiel 18:32)
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. (Galatians 6:7,8) (For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. (Romans 8:13))
Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel? (Ezekiel 33:11)
Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy. He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. (Micah 7:18,19)
Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it. (Isaiah 1:16-20)
Nevertheless for thy great mercies’ sake thou didst not utterly consume them, nor forsake them; for thou art a gracious and merciful God. (Nehemiah 9:31)
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us–ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (II Peter 3:9)
The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever. He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him. For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust. As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more. But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children; To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them. (Psalms 103:8-18)
For the Lord will not cast off for ever: But though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies. For he doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.... Wherefore doth a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins? Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the LORD. (Lamentations 3:31-33,39-40)
The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. (Psalms 145:18)
Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. (Isaiah 55:6-8)
THY WILL BE DONE? or MY WILL BE DONE?
After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. (Matthew 6:9-13)
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us–ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (II Peter 3:9)
For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: (I Thessalonians 4:3) (And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. (I John 2:17))
And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not. [blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. (John 20:29)] All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.... And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. (John 6:35-37,40)
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (John 1:12,13) (Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. (I Peter 1:23))
The will of God is to repent and believe the gospel !
Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. (Mark 1:14,15)
Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost [which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: (Col. 1:27) the kingdom of God... within you. (Luke 17:21)]. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. (Acts 2:38,39)
He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. (Proverbs 28:13)
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out (Acts 3:19)
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; (Titus 2:11,12)
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. (Romans 6:4)
And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. (II Corinthians 5:15)
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (II Corinthians 5:17)
Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: (Colossians 3:9,10)
[To repent ye simply means to confess your sins with sincere remorse and forsake them (Prov. 28:13), and to believe the gospel simply means to believe God's word, the Holy Bible (That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (Rom. 10:9) (Mark 1:14,15)]

WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED ?
The same superstitious religious organization that for centuries suppressed the true scriptures and burned both Bibles and martyrs, is the same religious organization responsible for helping to take the Holy Bible out of our public school class rooms and corrupting the true scriptures today (see Right of the Bible in Our Public Schools, Religious Freedom and Catholicism, Early Corruption Of The Scriptures, and Papal Sovereignty). The following books are confirmation of the afore mentioned facts:
