CALIFORNIA DREAMS COME TRUE

Our daughter, the youngest, lives in San Diego. She has a great executive job and attends a Fashion Design college. We love visiting her there, although we miss her terribly.

This is a restaurant in Seaport Village that we dined at in September of 1999. It was
really nice, out over the bay overlooking the water, and a great view of the Coronado
bridge, with a view of Coronado. Wonderful food, and great service. We had a great time.

When Willie spent the summer of 1999 with Mandy in San Diego, they took a trip up
to Hollywood. I have video of the ride and the places they went. This is Mandy & Willie with
the famous HOLLYWOOD sign on the hill behind them. Don't they look so cool? What class!!

I think Hotel del Coronado is the absolute hotel of the millenium!! I toured it twice but could
never afford to stay there. That would be the thrill of my life!!! It is exquisite beyond words to me.

Just look at this place! It is so awesome!! Maybe I can make a deal with the management. What if I
made some websites with nothing but praise for this hotel of all hotels? Wonder if they would give
me a discount to stay there for a weekend? It couldn't hurt to ask, now, could it? Oh, well. I guess it
is just a lot of wishful thinking. But, you know, it never hurts to dream and to wish. And I do, and I will.

My first time in the Pacific Ocean!!! So cool compared to the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

. . . . . . . .
