2002 WS-6 TransAm
UPDATE: SLP Airbox Lid Installed! (4-4-2004)
We got the WS-6 in May, 2003. The WS-6 is well
known for it's Ram-Air induction. The WS-6 option
includes Ram-Air, upgraded suspension, performance
exhaust and polished aluminum wheels wrapped in
GoodYear Eagle F1 rubber. The stock LS1 5.7L
V8 provides approx. 330hp and approx. 340lb/ft of torque.
Below is a picture of the aluminum LS-1.
Future upgrades to our T/A will be limited to an SLP
Performance Airbox lid and smooth bellow for a claimed
estimate of 10 (lid) and 6 (bellow) additional horsepower. A K&N
airfilter and perhaps Borlas Cat-back
exhaust
will round out the upgrades. After all, the car has plenty of street
worthy power available from the factory.
