University of Louisiana at Lafayette

University of Louisiana at Lafayette is located in in the center of Lafayette, a town of over 100,000 residents. Lafayette is considered to be in the heart of Cajun Country, south central Louisiana, and is known for its "work hard, play hard" lifestyle.

UL Lafayette (formerly USL) started out its foundation as a high school and has developed into a Doctoral II research institution and college. ULL has earned many international and national recognition for its achievements in computer science and biology, as well as many other departments. In the year 2000 UL Lafayette will celebrate its 100th birthday and looks more promising every year.
