Gantoris was the decedent of a Jedi woman named Ta'ania. He lived on the volcanic world of Eol Sha. He was the leader of a group of colonists.
Ever since Gantoris was young, he had a dream of a dark man that offered him incredible secrets and then destroyed him. When Luke Skywalker came to Eol Sha, Gantoris thought he was the dark man.
Luke Skywalker came when an rock slide hit. A young boy and girl were caught in the rock slide. Gantoris was helping the colonists move the rock when Master Skywalker arrived. Skywalker used his power to move the rocks. The girl and boy were found. The boy was dead.
When Gantoris found out that Master Skywalker came for him, he thought Skywalker was the dark man. The sleep accommodations Gantoris gave him was one of the dead boy's favourite places to play. When another boy was kill that afternoon when he was hunting bugdillos, Gantoris gave Skywalker a bugdillo to eat.
That night Gantoris decided to give Master Skywalker some test. The first test was to get lichen from geyer. The second test was to walk across lava. Master Skywalker passed the tests. After the tests, Gantoris agreed to go with Skywalker. Luke promised Gantoris that the New Republic will find a new planet for the people of Eol Sha.
Skywalker showed Gantoris the wonders of the galaxy and some Jedi lessons on the way to Bespin. On Bespin they found another student, an old man named Streen. They continue their journey and went to Coruscant.
On Coruscant, the Minster of State, Leia Organa Solo, showed Gantoris the planet where the colonists will be moved to. The planet was a former rebel base called Dantooine. Gantoris thought it was the perfect place. Soon the evacuation of Eol Sha started.
On Yavin 4, Gantoris continued his training with Dorsk 81, Tionne, Corran Horn, Brakiss, Cray Minga, Streen, Nichos Marr, Keiran Hakyan, Kam Solusar, and Kirana Ti. Master Skywalker taught his students with the help of Master Vodo-Siosk Baas.
At his spare time, Gantoris spend his time building a lightsaber. He was components his found in the former Rebel Base. A voice in Gantoris head told him where to find jewels for the saber and how to built one. When he was finished, he turned on the weapon. In a snap-hiss the amethyst colour blade came to life.
During one of the training lessons Gantoris helped Dorsk 81 ride through a volcanic heat in a hot spring. After the lesson Gantoris drew his lightsaber against Master Skywalker. Skywalker won and taught Gantoris a lesson.
That night Gantoris fought the dark spirt of Exar Kun. Before his death, Gantoris found his people were all killed by the Empire. The next morning Gantoris' dead boy was found by Dorsk 81. His body layed crisp and black on the floor. Beside him was his lightsaber.
