The world of the web is a funny place
You never know who you might meet
You turn on your machine and start to surf
And see all the people to greet.
Some you say oh how nice
Others you don't think the same
You meet so many and at times
It's hard to remember their names.
But, then all of a sudden
You meet someone new
When you least expect you find yourself
Saying, Hello how do you do.
Before you know it time goes by
Suddenly you're looking everyday
For this friend you just met
Who has become special in every way.
A way that's hard to explain
Or even fully to understand
But somehow someway
They have become special to you
in this cyber land.
They make you laugh
And sometimes cry
Slowly you get closer
And you don't know why.
But you find yourself looking for them
To share a part of their day
To hear all their news be it good or bad
You help each other get thru some way.
You are special friends to me
One that I'm happy that I met
One that I thank God every day
For the fact that I found this internet.
So thank you my friends
You are so special to me
You are ones I shall never forget
