Services

To fulfill the purpose, The Grief Center of Southwest Louisiana offers the following programs and service:

• Support groups for grieving children.
• Support groups for adults accompanying the children.
• Training opportunities for professionals and volunteers in health-care, counseling, ministry, and related fields.

Research shows that children are the most under-served bereaved population. Although grief respects no age boundaries, our initial program focus is on grieving children ages 5 through 17 years.

Services are provided at no cost to families due to the support from donations, grants and volunteers.
