This page is dedicated to my "kids." (And no... the mice in the title header are not suicidal.... they are creating a diversion by blowing dandelion fluff at the 2 cats there so that the rest of the mice can run in terror. ) Here are a few pictures of my 2 cats along w/ a few cat graphics that I've picked up here & there.

Okok.. enough of the dramatics. Here are the kiddos.

This is Tiger. This picture was taken in the summer of 1997. He was roughly 4 yrs old then. (Tiger was a stray so I'm not exactly sure of his true age but this is best guess by our vet.)

In the summer of 1996, I was helping my then-boyfriend with handy-work on his parents rental properties. While we were cleaning & repainting one particular unit Tiger decided to drop in & introduce himself. He was obviously a stray & didn't have any tags. That day we picked up some cat food & a little milk on the way back to work & set them outside - sure enough he came back & chowed down. He then proceeded to waltz right into the apartment & curled (i really should say contorted) into a small box that had belonged to a small halogen work light. (less than a foot square) I picked him up the next day & took him straight to a vet.

This is Munchkin, a.k.a. Munchie (and a lot of the time "AAARRGGHH!!!!!" fits also)

Munchie was born on 4/1/97 to my neighbor's cat Nala. She was the runt of the litter & almost didn't make it. My neighbors realized that she was still hanging in there & were able to bring her back so that the mother cat would recognize her again. I went next door to ogle at the "Free Kittens" one day "just to look." Munchkin was curled up in a ball on top of her mother so that the blended together (the mom was a calico too). After we woke her up with our noise she crawled into my lap & fell asleep --and stole my heart. The poor dear's a little neurotic, but we love her to pieces.

Here are a couple rare moments from when Munchie was little that she & Tiger actually got along. He wasn't too keen on a tag-along baby at first, but after Munchkin's daunting persistence, Tiger finally caved in & accepted her as a good buddy. (I'll post some of the pictures from "the chase" later - there was no limit to what she would try to do to win him over.) They both like boxes by the way.....

This picture was taken about 2 yrs ago. I don't know about Munchkin being the runt of the litter anymore, though. She's bigger than all of her brothers & sisters now.

Well that's about all for now. Visit again soon & I might have some new pictures for you.
