Norm Macdonald was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He began doing stand-up comedy in Canada, before moving to Los Angeles. He does mostly comedic acting, but has also worked as a Story Editor and Writer for the show, "Roseanne". He is the co-creator and Writer, and the Producer of his own show, "Norm". He is divorced, and has one son named Dylan (born in 1992). Norm currently resides in Los Angeles and New York.
His next movie role will be opposite Jim Carrey's Andy Kaufman in "Man on the Moon".
