Using a passage of Scripture from Joshua, "Choose ye this day whom you will serve...as for me
and my house, we will serve the Lord", I have listed my 'choices for every day living', they are:
Today, I choose to...
realize that I am not always right.
admit when I am wrong and not gloat when I am right.
help as many people as I can.
say only positive things about others.
be cheerful to everyone.
wake up challenged by each new day.
love everybody.
not argue or fuss about anything.
show my love to my wife and kids.
show the right attitude in all situations.
look for the good in every person I meet.
walk away from gossip.
realize that I have faults, too.
live every day as it is my last.
not take things too seriously.
smile at those who need a smile.
go the extra mile for the less fortunate.
accept problems as challenges for me and my Lord to take on.
treat everybody as someone special.
be more patient with my family.
accept others as they are, not as I think they should be.
put only holy and positive things into my mind.
walk away from all forms of evil.
show Jesus to all that I can.
pray every day.
give my all to Him every single day.
live more like Jesus and less like the world.
let go of things and let God have more of me.
daily seek His will for me, my family, and for my church.
These are choices I must make daily. And I choose to do them this day. How about you?
