Varnado High School is a small school located in Angie, Louisiana. This year, VHS has approximately 250 students enrolled. Here at Varnado High, we have an excellent academic curriculum as well as new facilities for better education which will increase productivity and learning. Varnado High competes in the Louisiana High School Athletic Association Class AA in football and basketball.
Varnado High School is proud to be the first high school in Washington Parish to be on the World Wide Web!!

It is the mission of the Varnado High School faculty, staff, and concerned citizens to provide all students with a relevant curriculum that meets individual students needs and provides all students with the skills necessary to become productive, contributing adults and life-long learners.

The vision of Varnado High School is to beome a premiere rural, integrated, and technology-based school where all students acquire the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to live productive lives as enlightened citizens. The key to this vision is the belief that all children will learn.
