Flathead Lake, Kalispell, Montana

My travels around this great country have given me the opportunity to explore and appreciate a variety of God's scenery. Wishing not to leave these wondrous places behind, I have written prose and poetry about them and gathered momentos along the way; maybe a rock, a seashell or a bit of sand poured into an old bottle. I am not a poet or artist by any definition, I just write what I feel (big on feelings) and paint on anything acrylics will adhere to. At first view in my younger years, I didn't comprehend the vastness of the ocean, it was just really big water. The desert was hot, dry, flat and endless. As I have now reached my so called mid-life years, my sight has turned from out to in. My small home business is really not very lucrative, at least at the present. I tend to give away my work. I paint on saws, pans, sand dollars, clay pots, old camp plates, bread boards and any piece of wood available. I have 8 publishing credits to my name to date and keep on writing, good therapy for the soul. The Believe Publications page of this site will lead you to my new books, "Up Country" and "Passage to the Inside". Passage Publishing is now in business to serve the publishing needs of others.

"I am trying to grasp a beginning with no ending; there is always a start and stop, a first, then last, birth, then death. All of the inhabintants on this planet sustaining each other; one giving life, one taking life. I can't imagine I have anything of consequence to offer. Each of us seems truly an immeasurable part of the whole picture, relatively unessential. One glance, one thought, one word, one movement. "One", trivial to those of us with more than one of everything. Perhaps the effect of one with sincere intent is more than many with no message."
