PERSONAL INFORMATION

Hello, and welcome. I know that for the most part, personal info pages are ignored by the people who are just stopping in for a quick look around, and if they don't have pictures of the person, they are virtually pointless, but I don't care. I am putting this page up for those people who will read it, and if you don't want to you can leave.

Friends: Kater, Teresa and Lisa are the only chick friends I have in person...yeah, I know, laugh it up...and right now I'm not very fond of all the guys that live near me whom I once considered my friends for one reason or another...so they're no longer included here...oh, but wait...now I get to include Mike and Brian (Hi!!!), a couple of guys I met at Ozzfest...

Status: Le sigh. Moggie broke my heart and now I'm single and lonely. This is the way things work for me.

There Are Things (And People) That I Can Appreciate: My dog and all my kitties, open minded people, some episodes of talk shows, Gamer's Paradise stuff, neon candles, neon anything, perty colored lights, firm mattresses, my CD collection, my Marilyn Manson t-shirts and all the rest of my merchandise, combat boots, black makeup, gothic style (although I'm not really gothic per se), AOL Instant Messenger and ICQ (without which I would be one very lonely little girl), Katie's guitar, my keyboard, my bass geetar, lava lamps, drums, techno balls, mirror balls, psychedellic designs, those weird colored lighted disco-dancefloor thingies, cream soda, beef jerky, Publix brand root beer, the guys we met at the Manson concert on April 20th, 1999, I think one's name was Jesse and I don't know what the blonde guy's name was but they were definitely cool (even though they went for Katie and probably thought I looked like some fat ugly poser skater person because I chose to dress differently that I normally do in hopes of looking better but alas it didn't work, and that just goes to show you that there are consequences to abandoning yourself...), the guys we met at Ozzfest '99 on Monday, July 5th, 1999 (hehehe hello, if you ever read this... Note - we also saw that blonde guy from the Manson concert at Ozzfest too, but we didn't say anything to him..whereas we spent most of the day with the new guys), sleeeeep....oh yeah, and allow me to tell you something. In this shitty city of Chicago, on July 14, 1999, I happened to find a new band. Now, I know what you're thinking. "Fickle Mariel found another cool band, big deal." No. This is a local band, which I saw at Warped '99, on the Levi's stage. The name, you ask? Plastic Princess. Most likely, none of you have any clue as to who I'm talking about, and that's really unfortunate, because the music is great (in my humble opinion anyway). I spent 20 dollars on their merchandise, after only having heard a short set and seeing them for all of perhaps 20 minutes. That's how impressed I was. I can honestly say that within a week, the band found its way onto the top of my 'favorite bands' list, and I put it right up there with Manson, because that's how much I like them. I'm going to refer you all to www.plasticprincess.com now, because I really want you to check them out. I HIGHLY recommend that if you ever get the opportunity to listen to their music, please do so. I doubt you'll regret it. I think they're extremely talented and deserve a lot more attention than that which has been given to them. Putting sound aside for a moment, it should also be mentioned that they look really really cool, and that, having talked to a couple of them, they seem like very nice people too. Teehee. :-)

And Then, There Are Things (And People) That I Just Can't: Having something you love taken away from you and knowing you can't have it back, some really bad rap songs, homophobes, bad food, people who have everything and rub it in your face, all the shedding that Elsa does, the carpet on the floor in my bedroom, and a bunch of other shitty lil stuff.

Well Folks That About Covers It, For Now. Like The Rest of This Site, I'll Update This Page Soon Enough.
