Welcome to Troop

(Home of the Chittimachas, Eagles, Panthers, Scorpions, Knights, & Venture)

Meetings
We meet in the St. Aloysius cafeteria on Mondays at 7:00 pm. During our meetings, we work on Scout skills, advancement and merit badges, and fun. Please feel free to drop in and visit.

Campouts
We have a scheduled campout or day outing every month. To see the places we go, check out our current calendar.

Summer Camps
Last summer Troop 7 attended 2 summer camps.



For 2003
We are going to Camp Comer, in Alabama. We are also going to Sea Base which is along the Florida Keys, this will be the 2nd trip to Sea Base, and the 4th high adventure trip that troop 7 has been on.


This is how you join Troop 7:
1) You must have completed the fifth grade or be 11 years old, or have earned the Arrow of Light Award but are under 18 years old.
2) You and your parents or guardian must complete a Boy Scout application and a Health History form.
3) Repeat the Pledge of Allegiance.
4) Demonstate the Scout sign, salute, and handshake.
5) Demonstrate tying the square knot.
6) Understand and agree to live by the Scout Oath, Law, Motto, Slogan, and the Outdoor Code.
7) Describe the Scout badge.
8) With your parent or guardian, complete the pamphlet exercises in the pamphlet: How to Protect Your Child from Child Abuse: A Parent's Guide.
9) Pay yearly dues of $50.(Prorated)
10) Participate in a Scoutmaster conference.
