Ode to the Striped Bass~

Stripers are my favorite fish to catch. Don't get me wrong, I fish for all kinds of fish, but there's something about hooking up a striper. My first fish that I caught was a striper in Richmond (Point Molate). It was the same day I met my Boyfriend and Fishing Buddy, Josh. Over 2 years later, We've caught countless stripers and other fish. Thanks to a bass, I've grown to love fishing.

My Biggest Striper for 1998~

Here is one of my biggest stripers yet. I caught this bass off the beach in Pacifica, California. I used a medium weight rod with 10 pound test and a 5/8oz hairaiser.

Salmon Season's Just Starting!~

April 2, 1999 ~ Josh and his first keeper salmon this year. We launched out of Pillar Point Harbor, HMB. Fished for salmon south of Pillar Point. A half dozen shakers 8 to 20 inches under tons of bait was all we saw. Action picked up near the Weather Bouy. This Salmon was caught there.
