About this site
The majority of the information in this index comes from reading Bradbury’s many short story collections. The plot summaries and comments were written by Eric Carter, (that's me). They were not copied from book jackets, nor were they copied and pasted from some other web-site. All research and HTML were done by me. Steal my hard work and the Dust Witch will steal your soul. All entries were written shortly after reading each story. This gives the entries more accurate details such as character names and settings instead of saying "some guy in this one place...."

These notes were written mainly for my own use and may cite sources such as novels, non-fiction books, introductions, afterwords, and books by other writers without going into depth about them or providing links.

Film, TV, and radio notes will be added as I discover them. I'll try to limit my comments to those that I've actually seen and heard. I've seen most of the Ray Bradbury Theater episodes and found few worthy of comment. Episode numbers are from the Sci-fi Channel web site.

This web-site isn’t maintained or endorsed by Ray Bradbury, his publishers, agents, or his pet black cat. The webmaster claims no connection to the author other than being a reader. This is not a commercial project and I am not making money from it. There are no actual stories on this site.

The Story Collections
Clicking a book title will show you the entries for all stories within that book. If a story appears in more than one book then its entry is duplicated accordingly. Entries may contain cross-links to other stories. You'll have to use the BACK button on your browser until I improve the site navigation. You may want to keep this window open and open the books into another window (right-click a title, choose "open in new window").

Classic Stories I is The Golden Apples of the Sun and R is for Rocket sold in one volume. Classic Stories II is A Medicine for Melancholy and S is for Space. Twice 22 is The Golden Apples of the Sun and A Medicine for Melancholy.

Stories can now be browsed by title. Click here.
