I don't have too many fishies, so this will be their main page!

What is Lem? He's an Australian Arrowana, AKA a Pearl Arrowana. He's a beautiful specimen, also. He eats earthworms, crickets, shrimp, baby mice, bloodworms, blackworms, and red mealworms. He's very intelligent for a fish, and he'll get your attention by swimming up to the top and staring at you until you feed him. He likes to splash you if you don't feed him, heh...I got him in November of 1999, when I received my first paycheck from Baskin Robbins! He was barely four or five inches long, but he grew so fast! He lived in Oregon with us because my parents and the housemate were neglecting him, so I HAD to move him up with us. Ever try transporting a fish that's over a foot long across state lines? It wasn't easy, lemme tell you...but at least the hotels never caught us with our kitty AND my fish in the room, heh...

I just got a new 95 gallon long tank (5' long, 18" wide, 20" tall) for Lem, and set it up with Maxi-Jet 1200 (295 GPH) Powerheads at opposite ends, two Penguin 330 (GPH) Bio-wheel Filter systems, two 150 Watt water heaters, and a nice background, which I have taped to my wall, because I'm a bit lazy and I'd hate to cut it down if I'm just going to get a bigger tank down the line--when Lem gets bigger. I simply don't have the space to keep anything bigger than 5' long right now, it just baaaarely fit on my desk.

My 40 gallon tall acrylic tank with its Eclipse filtration system hood. My sister always wanted a tetra tank, so I let her put fish into it, since it's way too small for Lem ;)

Like Cichlids? I bought two Red Peacock cichlids for our housemate, and not even two weeks later, they have tons of babies!! It's just a little 10 gallon, but they'll most likely be moving into Lem's old 55 gallon--unless I start a reef tank with that one....
