OMILO Course Prices and Dates 2009

A. 1-WEEK (7 days) INTENSIVE COURSES IN MAROUSSI (NORTHERN ATHENS)

Courses start on Sunday (10.00) and finish Saturday (14.00). The lessons take place from 10.00 till 14.00 on Sunday and Saturday (4 hours/day) from 13.00 till 16.00 on Mon., Tue., We. and Thu. (3 hours/day) from 12.30 till 16.30 on Friday (4 hours) Min 3 and max 6 students per class If a class has less than 3 students, the teaching hours will be cut to a total of 18 hours. Tuition includes : 24 hours instruction, text book, guided walk in Athens, visit to museum or concert (ticket not included), 1 tavern meal on Sunday 14.00, coffee and tea during the breaks

B. 2-WEEK INTENSIVE COURSES IN NAFPLION AND ISLAND OF SYROS (*)

Courses start on the indicated arrival day at 19.00 (information and tavern meal) and finish the indicated departure day at 13.30 The lessons take place during 10 days, 4 hours per day (teaching times 9.30 - 13.30). For courses in Nafplion there is 1 day off, for courses in Syros there are 2 days off without lessons. Min 3 and max 9 students per class Tuition includes: 40 hours instruction, text book and 1 tavern meal on arrival day. Also optional afternoon activities (like Greek dance lessons, museum or monastery visit, guided walks, possibilities to attend concerts and/or theatre (tickets not included)), depending upon the location and the period the course is organized.

**(*) GENERAL NOTE FOR THE INTENSIVE COURSES IN NAFPLION AND SYROS :**

1. When your class (level) has less than 3 students, the total teaching hours will be cut to 30 hours in case of 2 students, or to 25 hours private lessons in case of 1 student (for the same course fee).

2. Those not having the possibility to stay for 12 days in Greece, can opt for a 1 WEEK COURSE, being the first week of every intensive 12-day course (day 1 till day 7) tuition: 360 EURO. Tuition includes: 20 hours of lessons, text book, 1 tavern meal (arrival day) and all activities organized during the first week of the course.

3. The various 2-week courses in Athens and outside Athens often are scheduled consecutively, so you can easily extend your course with 1 or 2 weeks if you wish. (even when the 2^nd course is in another location). For each extended 3^rd or 4^th week of courses the price is 295 Euro.

4. During the intensive courses in Nafplion and Syros, participants will be offered the opportunity

to take part in different activities (free of charge) during the afternoons. Optional excursions (extra charge) are also proposed, depending on the location of your course.

C. 8- WEEK and 10-WEEK GROUP COURSES IN MAROUSSI (NORTHERN ATHENS)

Courses, all levels, take place twice a week, 2,5 hours each time Lessons take place in the morning (9.30 – 12.00) or in the evening (18.30 – 21.00) Min 3 and max 7 students per class No classes on Greek public holidays 2/3/09, 25/3/09, 1/5/09, 8/6/09, 28/10/09. Classes are not re-scheduled to make up for public holidays. Tuition includes : 40 hours (8-week course) or 50 hours (10-week course) of instruction Coffee and tea during the breaks.

D. PRIVATE INSTRUCTION FOR ADULTS AND/OR CHILDREN

NOTE: Private instruction is possible in Maroussi and Athens from September 11^th till July 10^th .
During our intensive courses in Nafplion (Easter) and the island of Syros (June, July and September), private instruction
is possible between 15.00 and 19.00.(at the price of the OMILO office).
The student is welcome to join the proposed activities together with the other group.

2009 Accommodation during the OMILO courses

OMILO is not only a language school! We also pay great attention to the accommodation arrangements since we want our students to enjoy their time here. For that reason, OMILO selects accommodation according to several criteria, including the proximity of a hotel to a village/town and public transportation, cleanliness, comfort, and the friendliness of its owners. Rooms are air-conditioned single or double rooms with private bathroom. Most participants coming from abroad stay in housing (hotel or pension) arranged through OMILO.

In case you do not need accommodation or wish to arrange it yourself, you are welcome to join our classes, paying only the tuition fee.

OMILO does not charge extra for bookings or reservations. We will ask a pre-payment though of 150 Euro in order to guarantee your hotel-booking. The balance of your hotel bill can be paid upon arrival in Greece.

We can also arrange for participants wanting to share a room with a friend or family member. They are welcome to join in the afternoon activities or excursions as well.

Double rooms can only be reserved in case a friend or family members joins you
For hotel and pension reservations in Nafplion and Syros we ask you to pay 150 Euro in advance

All room prices are inclusive breakfast in Athens and Nafplion but without breakfast on Syros island

Note : For info, please visit www.attaloshotel.com. However, the above prices are only given when booked by OMILO. The breakfast is continental. The Hotel is located in the center of Athens, at 5 minutes walk from the Monasteraki Metro Station. In order to make it easier for you, we can make the booking for OMILO students in the Attalos Hotel. We will ask you to pay an advance of 10 Euro per night to guarantee the hotel reservation. The balance you will pay directly to the Hotel when arriving in Greece.

In case you want to book yourself another or cheaper accommodation, we can provide you with a small list of different options in Athens.

This Bed and Breakfast is located in Maroussi, at 200 meters from the Maroussi Metro Station. The house is located on a pedestrian shopping street. There are 2 nice and clean rooms available, with shared bathroom. You will have a lot of opportunities to practice your Greek with Ms. Ioanna. (She also speaks English and French). For booking, OMILO will ask you to pay an advance of 10 Euro per night to guarantee the reservation. The balance you will pay directly to the B & B when arriving in Greece.
