As the convention nears I am sure that you have a lot of questions, so I went ahead and compiled as much of the convention information as I have.

6:00-8:30 Registration Centre lobby.

6:30-7:00 Pre-Orientation This is for all Committee Chairpersons and Officers.

7:00-8:00 Orientation Everyone is to attend.

8:30-10:00 GET Acquainted Social

FRIDAY

8:00-9:00 Registration, Book Sale, and Sales Promotion.

9:00-11:30 Tours

9:30-11:30 Executive Board Meeting

12:00 Lunch Buffet

1:30 1st General Session

3:00-3:30 Book Discussions

3:30-4:00 Judging and Break for the Political Rally

4:00-5:00 Political Rally

6:00-7:00 Book Sale/ Autographing

7:00-8:45 Banquet

9:00-12:00 Dance

SATURDAY

8:00-8:15 Voting

Richard Peck will be speaking to LTLA at the convention during the banquet. He has written many books that I am sure you can find in your library. SO.... What are you waiting for, GO CHECK THEM OUT!!


Motivational Speaker...

Yes, Doug Stewert will be back at convention, speaking at the 1st General Sesion. Oh, and bring some extra money, he will be selling CDs with his motivational stories on it through the Sales Promotion Committee.
