- This is the last update to the Interstate 12 page. At this moment 3/4 of us are in college and 1 a senior at A.Hannan High... the page will remain up as long as Angelfire will let us keep it here. So, in ten years when you're bored, sitting in front of your computer you'll think, "Hey! I should visit the Interstate 12 webpage and get a good laugh!" Then again, that's what we're here for anyway, right? To give you a good laugh? Yes, everyone loves a good laugh... and that's what we want to happen... we want you to get a good laugh. You guys and gals can still write in the guestbook.. and sorry about never updating the pictures section.. too bad.. Well, I guess that's all I have. The Band's Future
6/21/00
- Well, as most of you know, I (Todd) will be escaping to Monroe in late August/early September for college. Therefore, it would be near impossible for me to continue with the band as its bassist. But Mike, Leon, and Dave may try to keep it going with a new bass player when the time comes. We'll see... As for now, Mike and I are working on a few last tunes to close out the "original" Interstate 12. We hope to put out one last demo at the end of the summer, tentatively named: Seven Chord Pop. So, as the Rolling Stones say: Keep on rockin' in the free world.
Soundclips Are Up!!

- Finally! The soundclips from the new demo, Interstate 12 vs. The Evil Bananas are up! So give them a listen and sample our new product. Also, Coolfest went great - thanks to all of our fans that came and to the great bands that played. Update on New Demo

- Interstate 12 vs. The Evil Bananas is done and mixed. The cover is complete and everything came out great. However, we're sorry to say that due to technical difficulties, "Cherry Eyeballs" will not appear on the demo. The price for the new CD remains at $7 and for a cool $10, you can purchase both demos. Also, soundclips and pictures from the new CD will be posted on our website at the end of next week. See you at Coolfest... peace out.

- Interstate 12 vs. The Evil Bananas is done and we are very pleased with the outcome. Monday it will be mixed and it will be on CD by Tuesday. Once again thanks to Mike Molero and KMFA Records for recording us with an 8-track recorder, because without it, the demo would probably "sound like ass." $8 is the current price for CD, and $5 on tape. Once again, it gets released at Coolfest... see you there!!!

- Hello all. This is just a little update... As most of you know, 3/4 of the band is in the process of graduating high school and it has put our playing time on hold for a little while. But after graduation day (Sunday!) we'll start our recording for "vs. The Evil Bananas" and shortly thereafter it will be in your hands, uh, for 6 bucks of course. It will be released at Coolfest2K which is on June 9th!!! Gear up!
Title change for new demo

- Interstate 12 vs. The Evil Bananas is the name of our new demo that will be released in June. Kevin drew up a nice cover to go along with the theme, so it should be a great all-around package. Come check us out at Beckyfest on May 5th!!!
Ok! This is it! 4/16/00
- There will be no new sound clips until we're finished recording "Dude, Bra" (which will be completed around the end of May). Right now, we're writing new material and throwing older, sucky songs out. So, if you want to hear new material, then come to a show. As for the pictures, they'll be up, umm, later next week.... which probably means in about 3 weeks. What a Bonnie Mo-fo.
All Problems Resolved! 4/06/00
- Like I said before, it was a pain my arse, but the clips and senior trip pictures will make it after all! Luckily our big fan, Allen, withholds a version of the RealEncoder, and he was nice enough to make our soundclips. Right now there's only one of each up, but hopefully all of them will be up within the next week. So stay tuned!!
Sound Clip problems
- Well, Interstate12 is getting screwed again. It seems that the Real Encoder is no longer available from the homos at RealAudio.com. "What does no Real Encoder mean?", you might ask. It means that .wav files can't be transferred to RealAudio files, therefore, there will not be any new I-12 soundclips. Now, unless one of you out there knows where I might could find this RealEncoder, please let me know. And if I can't find one, then the clips will just have to go up in .wav format, which is a big pain in the arse.
Updates to the page
- Ok, first of all, the picture situation: There were supposed to be pictures of us on our senior trip. However, Angelfire sucks ass and doesn't provide its customers with enough space to store all the pictures that they please. So, there will be no Senior Trip pictures. But keep checking the "pictures" section for more shots of us at shows.
- Secondly, the newest sound clips will be up later this week, so stay tuned.
- Thirdly, my dog's a kool kat.

- It's done! Since we were tired of waiting forever to finish our "8-track demo", we made the decision to take two hours, one day and record our latest songs. Click here to view the track listing.
