Dear Child of God,

I am so very proud of what God is doing here at Westside Baptist Church. He has proven Himself to be ever faithful. We are seeing Him work daily in our lives and in HIS church.

We are still very proud to be a Southern Baptist church. We continue to believe that the Holy Bible is just what it says - GOD'S HOLY WORD. We believe The Bible to be without error. We believe that it's writers were divinely inspired by a loving God to provide us, His children, with inspiration, assurance and direction for living our lives.

We Believe we are commanded to share the GOOD NEWS OF JESUS with a lost and dying world.

This is the GOOD NEWS as we believe it:.

Jesus is the Son of God.
He was sent to this world by the Father to die on a cross, so that all mankind could have salvation.
We believe that He did, indeed, die upon that cross 2000 years ago.
We believe that He was buried in a borrowed tomb.
We believe that He arose from that tomb on the third day.
We believe that our Jesus ascended unto the Father and that He lives today.
We Believe that Jesus will return to this world to claim those who have accepted this marvelous gift of salvation and to judge those who have rejected the gift.

I invite you to attend one our worship services soon. I promise that if you do, and if you come seeking a touch from God, you will not leave untouched. If you come in as one who is lost and sincerely desire to be saved, I promise that you will become a new person in Christ. Not because of Brother Tommy Allen or Westside Baptist Church but because of Jesus Christ and the love He has for you.
