Ascension Amateur Raido Club is a non profit organization. The club
meets on the first tuesday of each month. The meeting starts at 7:00 pm
and are held at the Gonzales Court House on Irma Blvd. We encourage all members to attend and also, anyone who would like to become a member or just visit is welcome to attend. The club participates in charity events like the Galvez Lake Fire Depatment Haunted House and directing traffic for the Gonzales Christmas Parade. The Ascension Amateur Radio Club also participates in
field day. The club maintains and operates two emergency communication stations. One at the court house in Gonzales and one at parish prison in Donaldsonville.
