Introduction
1. Brainstorming- Have students identify different types
of weather conditions. Write these on
board or chart paper. Orally discuss
what is involved with these conditions.
Activities-
1. Give each student a copy of the poem worksheet.
Each person will work on a poem about some
aspect of weather and illustrate it.
2. Each person will present their poem to the
class.
Conclusion-
1. Discuss interesting items brought up in the poems.
Display poems in class and/or school.
You may want to do one poem together as a class so that students will understand what to do.
