Let me tell you a little bit about
me. My name is Darlene Marie Balque-Morales. I am
originally from the small town of Eunice, Louisiana.
I now live in Texas against my will. (No offense, but
I rather live in Louisiana). I am married and I have two beautiful kids
(twin girls) who are three years old. I love to "Zydeco"
and listen to the Zydeco Music of Artists such as Boozoo Chavis, Geno Delafose, Jo Jo Reed and the late great Beau Jocque. Beau's music will live on forever.
I try to visit Louisiana as often as possible, but now
a days, thats not very often at all. I Love Louisiana
culture, music and people. 'Oh how I wish for the
simpler life.'
I am currently employed by The Texas Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation at the San Antonio State School. I have enjoyed 10 years
of continuous employment. I attend college and am seeking a degree in Information Systems.
I consider my mother my best friend and my buddy. She has always been there for me. Thank you God for
giving her to me.
