Jesus Loves a Sinner
God loved the people of this world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who has faith in him will have eternal life and never really die.
John 3:16
What a beautiful thought this is.....and it is really that simple.
You will never enter into the kingdom of heaven unless you enter as a child.
Luke 18:17
To truely understand God we must first see God as a child sees his father and then begin to obey the words of God just as we obey our fathers' words.
Could anything be so simple?
Think about your first Sunday school...You were taught the song,
"Jesus Loves the Little Children"
Some people brought their children to Jesus, so that he could place his hands on them and pray for them. His disciples told the people to stop bothering him. But Jesus said,"Let the children come to me, and don't try to stop them! People who are like these children belong to God's kingdom." After that Jesus placed his hands on the children and blessed them.
Matthew 19:13,14
God's words are true and it is that simple.
"But I'm a sinner...all I ever do is sin"
Sure you do, everyone does. But Jesus understands our weaknesses, because he is God in the form of man.
God became flesh to understand the weaknesses of the flesh. God
wants
us
to be with him in heaven and knowing that all people fell short of knowing the kingdom of heaven, to be with the Father, he sent Jesus to die for our sins,all of our sins,
and to intercede for us and to let God know that we are worthy through him, to be with God and never to truely die. Once you completely accept that simple truth and stop denying that fact(stop listening to Satan and his lies) and give yourself to Jesus, then the desire to stop doing sinful things will begin to happen in your life. The desire to walk a rightious path will take hold of you. Being saved is instantaneous, but walking a rightious path is a growing process. It may take years, but the desire to walk that path is what matters. Don't listen to Satan. He is the father of lies and when you believe those lies, then Satan has won and you are doomed.
It is that simple.
Just remind yourself about your first Sunday school lessons.
Remember when you were taught that "God is love."
.....Well, God IS Love.
And it is that simple.
