The Sunday/Moore Family. Just now learning a little about this side of the Family Tree.


This is my Great Great Grandfather, Harrison Sunday Born: 24 January 1832 Died: 12 January 1907. He is from my Mother's Father's side of the family. From Molino, FLorida.

This is Mercedes Sunday Moore. She is the daughter of Harrion and Denise and would be my Great Grandmother.

This is my Great Grandfather Jacob Moore. As mentioned above he was from Medina, Ohio and married Mercedes Sunday.



This is a link the 1885 Census for Escambia County, FLorida. Jacob and Mercedes are listed. The Census shows they have 3 children. Mable, Ethel and Alvie. Mable did not survive to adulthood. Alvie is a nickname for my Grandfather Alvah Joseph Moore. This is a very long list, you will find them listed at 1375.



This is Ethel Clare Moore, Daughter of Jacob and Mercedes. She was called Eppie and lived in New Orleans for most of her adult life.



This is my Grandmother Beulah Carroll Moore and my Grandfather Alvah Joseph Moore. He is the son of Jacob and Mercedes Moore. Don't know who the soldier is but this was taken sometime during the 1940's and I understand that they used to entertain some of the many men from the Army stationed here for the Louisiana Manuevers.



This is my Father Kelly Ward and Mother Carroll Moore Ward at their wedding at St. Frances Cabrini Church in Ocotober 1949. Carroll is the youngest daughter of Alvah and Beulah Moore.



This was taken in about 1981 to finish 6 generations. Dad, myself and Thomas.
