be. The purpose of this web site is to make available information concerning
our congregation to the general public, and to provide our community with
opportunities to learn God's will for us as it is made known through His

About the church of Christ
The church of Christ was founded by Jesus Christ on
the day of Pentecost in 33 A.D. On that day,
the Bible tells us, there were added to the church about 3,000 souls. (Acts
2:41). Since that time man has tried to change what God has said; adding
in his own thoughts and desires. In the church of Christ, however, we speak
where the Bible speaks and we are silent where the Bible is silent. We call
Bible things by Bible names and do Bible things in Bible ways. We have no
creed other than the New Testament. We have no leader other than Jesus Christ.

From highway 90 westbound, turn right on Bayou Blue
Road. Travel aprox 5 miles. Look for the Sunrise Fried Chicken. Turn right
on Ida Street. Our building is the 4th house on the left.
