Brown received his preparatory education from Cleveland State University, and his legal education from Southern University Law Center. Michael D. Brown is a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Delta Theta Phi Legal Fraternity, Louisiana State Bar Association, National Bar Association, and Louis A. Martinet Legal Society. Michael D. Brown is a past Board Member of the Louisiana Child Support Enforcement Association (LCSEA), and a Past President of (LCSEA), 1995-1996. He has also served as Past President of the Southwest Regional Support Enforcement Association (SWRSEA), 1991-1992. Michael D.
