Women Interested In Zeta

The Omega Eta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., announced the reactivation of W.I.Z. this past Spring 2002 on the campus of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. W.I.Z. stands for Women Interested In Zeta. W.I.Z. serves as a collegiate auxiliary to the Omega Eta Chapter. In past years, W.I.Z. was incorporated in the 1980's to attract women of interest in Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, but for various reasons did not have time to fullly committ to sorority life. Now W.I.Z. serves as a method for freshman and first-time sophomores to get a feel of sisterly love. The W.I.Z. program is designed for women to join and demonstrate ideals of service, sisterhood, and enhance their finer womanhood. It is primarily a means for students to better their GPA's through W.I.Z. study/tutoring sessions, help obtain service hours, show support at greek events and establish positive relationships with greeks in preparation for sorority life.
