How do I become a Christian? --------> Read your bible!
"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." 2 Tim. 2:15
The Bible teaches that we must Hear the word of God (Rom. 10:17, Mt. 7:24-27), Believe it (Heb. 11:6, Mk. 16:15-16, -not by faith only- Jas.2:24 and Jn. 12:42), Repent of our sins (Acts 2:38 and 17:30, Lk. 13:3), Confess that we believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God (Mt. 10:32-33, Acts 8:36-37), Be Baptized for remission of your sins (again in Acts 2:38 and Mk. 16:15-16, 1 Pt.3:21, Rom. 6:3-5 etc.).
We are taught in the Bible that in order to go to Heaven we must remain faithful unto death (Rev. 2:10). God gives us all the answers, all we have to do is read and study His word! The road to Hell is so EASY to get on and so HARD to get off. If we follow in Jesus' footsteps we will have a less strenuous walk through life.
God loves you and wants you to live with Him eternally but He says in Mt. 7:13-14: "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it."
He never said it was going to be EASY. It plainly says "difficult is the way which leads to life". Keep God in your 'driver's seat' and things will work alot smoother.

(April 2001) This is My Grandaddy and I before my Sr. Prom. He passed away the next month on May 3. He was the greatest and I miss him A LOT.
