Welcome to the Universal Appeal Jem site. This site is dedicated to Jem, the 80's
truly outrageous doll line and musical cartoon TV-series about a girl named Jerrica Benton,
who by the help of the holographic computer Synergy can project a hologram over her body
to become the glamorous Jem. Only a few people know that Jerrica and Jem is the same
person, Kimber, Aja, Shana, and Raya. Together they form the band Jem and the Holograms,
to battle another girlband, the Misfits, and later also the Stingers joined in.
As you can see on the counter and trackers, Jem currently has a big following from different
places around the world where Jem was available in the 80's, and the popularity is increasing
again.
This site was started in Jem's early years on the internet, when no message boards or chats,
and less than 10 Jem sites were around. But as you can see on the
link pages, the number of
Jem sites and other features has definitely increased. At Angelfire there's currently 20mb to
work within, so be sure to check back many times in the future for updates. Don't forget to
