Jem Dolls

The Holograms dolls The cartoon was based on the doll line. The dolls have poseable head, arms, wrists, waist, legs, and bendable elbows and knees. All the dolls, fashions, and playsets had Jemstar Points printed on the back of the boxes, which were to be cut out and mailed in for special offers. The bigger or more expensive item, the more Jemstar points. Each of the dolls came with shoes and a stand. Except for the Starlight Girls, each of the dolls came with a poster. Except for the first Jem/Jerrica and Rock 'n Curl Jem, each of the 12½ inch (or 32 cm) dolls, came with a music cassette tape with a theme song and two songs by Jem and the Holograms or the Misfits on side A, and instrumentals of those songs on side B. The four Video Madness playsets and three games, came with cassettes aswell. Some of the songs on the cassette tapes, are the same version as in the cartoon, in a second recording, but most of them have some differences. Some of the songs are extended with some music inbetween the vocals, some songs repeat some lines, some have a new intro, and some had the intro removed. Some of the song titles were shortened on the cassette tapes, probably to fit better.

Dolls, 1985 by Hasbro:
All the dolls this year, had 2 Jemstar Points. The instrumentals on side B of the doll cassettes have a instrument playing in place of the singing. The cassettes came with one of two versions of Side B, one has the song titles written like Side A, and the other says "Jem Instrumental".
