Talent
Talent is something much overlooked
flying by with the wind or tucked in a nook.
A cranny so small the eye cannot see
places I never go or ever expect to see.
A child may contain it for fear it's not good
but we all have a talent, or at least everyone should.
Cause when it's released a smile overtakes you
a wonderful feeling when a crowd appreciates you.
Small as a flea, as big as a house
talents are wonderful whenever they come out.
It may take a month or years and years
trying to keep in your talent before it appears.
But when you unleash it, a wonderful sight
pour yourself into it with all of your might.
For talents are gifts from the Lord up above
to be used in good faith with a touch of his love.
Use it or lose it, as the saying does go
the first step is the hardest, but from there, off you go.
So look deep within, make your time here well spent
take a deep breathe, exhale, and unleash your talent.
