I call your house, but you're not at home,
I page you twice as I sit by the phone.
One thing that I asked which was simple to do
you promised to be here, but you're not, when I need you.
I imagine the worst as I sit here lonely,
to settle my heart, you have just to call me.
You do it for them, but never for me,
thought I was your girl, but I'm not I can see.
I don't go out since you feel I would cheat,
when we go together, I see the people you meet
The ghetto hootchies that touch your hand,
slip you their number as if I'm a statue on a stand.
Why do I cry, you ask again and again,
"You know I love you girl"..."Oh, she's just a friend"
Call in sick all the time, I skip work just to see you,
you promised to be here, but you're not, when I need you.
