Easy Chicken and Gravy Recipe


1 cut-up fryer
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of celery soup
1 cup dry onion flakes
garlic powder to taste
salt to taste
pepper to taste

Put the chicken pieces in a baking pan and sprinkle the onion flakes, garlic,
and pepper on them. In a bowl, combine the soups and pour over the chicken.
Cover and Bake in a 400F oven until the chicken is tender. Serve the
chicken and gravy over rice.

Chicken Jambalaya Recipe


1 pkg. smoked sausage
1 can chicken broth
1 cut-up chicken
2 medium onions, chopped
1 cup rice

Cut sausage into thin slices and brown in a large cast-iron skillet. Remove
the sausage and set aside. Add a little oil and brown the chicken pieces.
Remove the chicken and set aside. Saute the onions and add the rice. Add the
sausage and chicken broth with enough water to make two cups.
Place the chicken on top. Put in a 350F oven and bake 35-40 minutes
until the chicken is done.

Chicken Casserole Recipe #1


3 cups boned chicken meat
1 can cream of celery soup
1 cup mayonnaise
1 pkg. wild and white rice combination, cooked
2 cans green beens, drained
1 medium onion, chopped
salt and pepper to taste

Mix all the ingredients in a 3-quart casserole dish and bake at 350F for
25-30 minutes.

Chicken Casserole Recipe #2


8 oz. uncooked macaroni
4 eggs, hardboiled, chopped
2 cups chicken, cooked, chopped
2 cups milk
1/2 lb. chedder cheese
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup


Mix all the ingredients together and refrigerate overnight in a covered
container. Take out 1 hour before cooking. Bake 1 hour at 350F.

Easy Chicken Pie Recipe


1 hen or fryer
4 cups of broth
1/2 cup flour
1 can Hungry Jack biscuits
3 boiled eggs, chopped
1 can peas, drained
1/2 cup canned milk
2 Tbsp. salt

Boil the chicken in water with 2 Tbsp. salt. Let cool and de-bone. Cut up
into small pieces. Combine the broth and the canned milk. Mix flour with
water to thicken and add to the broth. Cook over low heat and let simmer.
Stir and add eggs, peas and chicken. Pour into a casserole dish and let
cool. Place biscuits on top and brown 15 minutes until biscuits are golden brown.

Easy Fried Chicken Recipe


1 cut-up frying hen
1 cup flour
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 cup milk
3 eggs
1 lunch-size paper bag
salt to taste

Combine the eggs and milk. Mix well. Combine the flour, garlic powder,
salt, and cayenne pepper in the bag. Shake well. Add a piece of chicken
at a time to the milk mixture and then add it to the bag. Shake well and
place the chicken in a skillet and fry until done.
